He started working his body in construction, for his brother, at the age of 11. His dad was the one who made him so disciplined by imposing a strict working routine. At the age of 18 Cutler began the training. After meeting Marcos Rodriguez, he stepped into the world of bodybuilding. 1993 was the year of his first success in a competition called Iron Bodies, but his first competition was in 1992 at Gold's Gym Worcester where he took the second place. In 2002 Jay Cutler moved to Vegas to train mainly for the title due to the facts that the gyms were the best in you want 24 hour schedule. Heaving a goal to achieve, each day should be full of purpose and precision. He won Arnold Classic titles in 2002, 2003, 2004 and after dethroning the legendary Ronnie Coleman in 2006 and winning the title again in a controversial battle against Victor Martinez the following year, Jay worked harder and harder in order to preserve his throne.
